If she were here today we'd be eating coconut cake with snow-white frosting. And she'd be turning 36 again for the twelfth year in a row. We'd be celebrating. And gift-giving.

As a matter of fact, if she were here right now I'd be wrapped so tight in elation that I would say, 'I love you, Mommy, so much. Happy birthday.'
