'accidental happiness'

So, I'm pulling up into my parking spot, all sorts of frustrated and tired, what with it being the first day of school and all. And I just want to sleep. Seriously. I'm talking Nyquil in the afternoon sleep. I'm talking wrapped in blankets and artificial darkness sleep. Let's just say, it has not been the day for me.

And so, I get out of my car and I see this young kid in possibly the oldest car I have ever seen. And the windows are down and he's jamming out to some amazingly horrible song from the 80s. And he's banging his head and playing air-drums. And he's singing and just so completely consumed in this fantastic moment that I think, 'That's beautiful, man.'

So much for bad bad days.
